A cultural lecture on radio, its establishment and development

In the presence of the AAU Vice President, Prof. Amer Qasem, and a number of Deputy Deans, the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the College of Communication and Media, organized a cultural lecture entitled “Radio: The Long Life of Short Waves” presented by Dr. Muhammad Chetah - Director of the Communication and Media Program, in conjunction with the World Radio Day.

The lecture dealt with the establishment and development of the radio, which has been one of the most attractive means in presenting news and in the fields of culture, and entertainment. Dr. Chetah also talked about the characteristics of a successful presenter and the basics of radio work, stressing the importance of the presenter’s voice and performance, in order to deliver the desired message to the listener and get closer to him.
