Awareness Workshop Highlights the Importance of Drug Prevention Among Youth
The Deanship of Student Affairs (Al Ain Campus) organized an awareness workshop titled “Drug Prevention,” as part of the university’s ongoing commitment to organizing purposeful initiatives that enhance health and social awareness among its students. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Youssef Mohammed, Consultant Psychiatrist at the National Rehabilitation Center, and was attended by a number of university students.
The workshop addressed the dangers of drug abuse and its negative effects on individuals and society, in addition to discussing prevention methods, the importance of early awareness, and the pivotal role of youth in protecting themselves and contributing to combating this social issue.
The workshop witnessed notable attendance and interaction from students, who emphasized the importance of such awareness initiatives in promoting health culture, in line with the university’s vision of preparing a conscious and responsible generation capable of making sound decisions that serve both themselves and their community.
