Honouring the AAU’S Football Team in recognition of its Athletic Achievements
In a gesture that reflects its commitment to student activities, the Deanship of Student Affairs – Abu Dhabi Campus honored the university’s football team in recognition of their outstanding performance in the first edition of the University Sports Championship 2024–2025. The team achieved second place across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ranked fourth at the national level. The honoring ceremony was held in the presence of the University Vice President, Prof. Amer Qassem, alongside Dr. Noha Hamadeh, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, as well as several college deans, associate deans, and academic program directors, all of whom praised the team's spirit and exceptional athletic contribution. Attendees expressed their pride in the team's performance, noting that the achievements were the result of discipline, intensive training, teamwork, and the university's continuous support of athletic activities.
This recognition is part of the university’s broader efforts to promote a culture of athletic excellence among students and to encourage a balance between academic success and active participation in university life.
