Al Ain University enhancing school students' knowledge on programming
The College of Engineering at Al Ain University at Al Ain campus, organized two workshops on Mobile and Game Programming for school students from Abu Dhabi Island International Private School and Al Sanawbar School. The workshops were presented by Dr. Saqib Iqbal and Dr. Issam Al-Azzoni from the Department of Software Engineering and Computer Science.
The aim of the workshops was to introduce school students to the fields of computer programming and software engineering and introduce fundamental and key concepts of developing mobile applications and creating animated stories and games. The participants developed mobile applications and animated games/storytelling during the workshops.
The management of visiting schools expressed their gratitude to the AAU, represented by the College of Engineering in providing such informative workshops on contemporary knowledge in the field of computer programming.
