New drugs to combat Alzheimer’s Disease

On the occasion of Alzheimer's Disease International Day, Dr. Abdelouahid Samadi from UAEU presented a lecture about “Multi-target drugs for Alzheimer's disease”, where this lecture was organized by the College of Pharmacy at Al Ain University, Al Ain Campus. And, it was attended by academic and administrative staffs and AAU students.

The speaker discussed the discovery of new anti –Alzheimer agents and the evaluation of their potency. He also pointed out the promising results of using these drugs: ASS234, DPH6, and AS53 in the future manufacturing of new and effective anti- Alzheimer drugs. 

Also, Dr. Samadi talked about Alzheimer's disease symptoms, types, causes, diagnosis, and treatment.
